POSITION SUMMARY
Manage daily operations of the customer service function, ensuring the operational infrastructure is supporting the expected delivery, quality, and service levels.  This position reports to the Director of Sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with all areas of the customer service department to ensure consistent and efficient service.
  • Provide customers with accurate and detailed information regarding pricing, scheduling, and shipping.
  • Partner with the manufacturing team to identify and resolve any quality or delivery issues.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and professional communication.
  • Communicate key operational updates to customers and sales account managers.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and accurately to ensure effective problem resolution.
  • Enter sales orders, coordinate shipping schedules, and keep customers informed of order status.
  • Maintain and update customer data in the company’s automated systems.
  • Set up and onboard new customers.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports as required.
  • Manage relationships with freight carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping.
  • Draft and send correspondence and letters to customers.
  • Enter production data into ERP system and schedule production lines accordingly.
  • Order raw materials to support production needs.
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or service delivery (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of ownership with a collaborative approach to working with the sales team.
  • Excellent data processing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
