Warehouse Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing guidance and managing a variety of general warehouse activities in an accurate, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and direct all shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage the cycle count process.
- Manage and lead staff in the Shipping& Receiving department (hiring, terminations, training and development).
- Responsible for inventory accuracy of finished goods and raw materials.
- Organize storage of finished goods and raw materials.
- Verify accuracy of finished goods and raw material labeling.
- Responsible for the safety and housekeeping of the unloading areas.
- Manage all bagging operations.
- Determine methods to reduce freight damage.
- Analyze and recommend ways to ensure 100% accurate shipments.
- Plan future shipping by reading shipping calendar ahead of time and anticipating needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years experience managing a warehouse/organizing raw materials and finished goods in busy manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated background in reducing warehouse operating costs
- Basic math/computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime
