
Supply Chain Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the smooth and efficient movement of materials, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This position reports to the President/CEO.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Analyze customer demands, and business objectives to create effective supply chain plans.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the availability of quality materials and services.
- Monitor supplier performance, including delivery schedules, product quality, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Continuously evaluate and select suppliers based on their performance, cost-effectiveness, and ability to meet business requirements.
- Establish relationships with vendors, obtain quotes, negotiate price, quantity, delivery dates terms and conditions of purchases.
- Assess vendor capabilities, develop alternate sources, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Maximize utilization and efficiency of space and of the shipping/receiving department.
- Develop inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement measures to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain.
- Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to understand and analyze financial data associated with plant operations.
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
- Demonstrated successful ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight schedules.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
