Production Planner/Scheduler
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for leading and coordinating production scheduling and raw material deliverables to effectively meet company goals and exceed customer expectations. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule production to optimize customer service levels, equipment downtime, scrap and inventory turns.
- Order raw materials to support production requirements while meeting storage constraints and optimizing cost and inventory turns.
- Resolve product and material shortages; coordinate with vendors and suppliers to develop plan of action and meet schedule commitments.
- Evaluate the most efficient and cost-effective logistic solutions for material transportation.
- Maintain strong communication across various departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years’ experience scheduling production in an industrial environment
- Proven experience working as a production planner
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication skills
