MOUNT VERNON, September 12, 2024 — Manner Polymers is delighted to provide an update on the construction progress of its new compounding facility in Mount Vernon. This state-of-the-art plant, spanning an impressive 100,000 square feet, will significantly increase Manner Polymers’ production capacity and reinforce its position as one of North America’s largest flexible PVC compounders.
Scheduled to commence production in 2025, the Mount Vernon facility is a key component of Manner Polymers’ strategic expansion. The new site is poised to enhance production capabilities with automated manufacturing technologies and onsite power generation.
The new plant will be powered by a 15-acre solar array and rooftop panels, reflecting Manner Polymers’ commitment to environmental responsibility. This solar initiative, the first of its kind in the flexible PVC compounding industry, highlights Manner’s ongoing efforts to innovate responsibly.
Strategically located to optimize logistics, the Mount Vernon facility will enhance operations and improve delivery efficiency across North America. The new plant is also expected to contribute positively to the local economy by creating new job opportunities and supporting regional growth.
