Accounting Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting and payroll including deviation reporting, collections, customer credit application process, month-end financial reporting process, coordinating without side auditors, review/perform internal audits, and monthly state sales tax reporting. Member of the IT committee. The Accounting Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and analyze weekly deviation report.
- Complete all month-end financial reporting items including adjusting entries, workpapers, financial statement generation, financial statement variance analysis.
- Perform daily bank reconciliation.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 70 employees.
- Create and enter bi-weekly payroll journal entries.
- Process new customer and credit limit applications.
- Perform monthly state sales tax and EX-IM reporting.
- Complete all month-end financial reporting tasks for Manner Associates.
- Complete all quarter-end BBC reporting to the bank.
- Coordinate activities of outside auditors and review/perform internal audits.
- Aid Office Manager in collection of accounts receivable.
- Aid other departments in creating process improvements and reporting capabilities.
- Back-up to Office Manager and HR Manager.
- Member of the IT Committee and on-site backup to Network administrator for computer setup, networking issues, and IT troubleshooting.
- Member of the EHS Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
